Is  the Kuhner piece "Sarah Sells Out" being misinterperated and in need of being dumbed down a notch or two so to be better understood ? Or is Kuhner's main point being cloaked in the readers eyes due to their all out love affair with the very likable and intelligent Palin causing them to turn a blind eye to the "Kuhner Logic" and the high "Kuhner [conservative] Standards"  I feel Jeff Kuhner simply sticks to his guns here and explained himself rather well on his Washington DC Radio Program on a.m 570 WTNT on yesterday's show. Kuhner is known for his "Take no Prisoner" style of radio and this serves as a good example right here with this Palin flack.  After my reading of the article I sense Kuhner  is pointing out he is not in anyway against her profiting from books and FNC gigs but is simply disappointed that was all she could bring to the table after her dramatic, cliff hanging styled stepping down from her Governorship.  Sarah could have taken on a Statesmanship role which would make her more of a realistically winnable future candidate. It seems Jeff Kuhner desires her to be a successful candidate for a future Presidential running however this as pointed out on his Talk Radio Show  "Sounds the Death Knell for any near future successful Presidential race" Known as "The Last Honest Man in Washington" or most recently dubbed "The  KuhnerMan", he may be faster than a speeding Bill in the House,  he may be able to bend liberal lies with his bare hands, he also may be able to leap tall piles of liberal lies. However when a promising Rising Star in Politics such as Sarah Palin chooses to join the ever expanding grazing fields of retired Politicians on FNC instead of something of substance even beloved Superhero's like the Kuhnerman will not be able to save her. I know his content contained in the topics he discusses are 100% true. He makes me wish there was a right-wing conspiracy, so I could simply just rest at night thinking all is well. But all is not well.  With Kuhner's steel-fisted grip and understanding of history and his air-tight arguments, he will have you not only regretting, but sprinting somewhere, anywhere to take back your vote for Obama. When you learn the facts as they are distilled by Jeff, you might even hate yourself if you were duped to vote for Obama or Hillary. They destroy the opposition and pass bills in the darkness of night instead of giving both sides time to read and understand these bills.  So here we are not even 6 months into Obama and we can see his plan truly unveiled This Democratic administration in my opinion is trying to bankrupt the Country, control the remaining revenue source and eventually create a third world population 100% dependant on the Government. Be forewarned    7/14/2009 Last Monday was a profound evening, hearing Dr. Charles Krauthammer speak to the Center for the American Experiment. He is brilliant intellectual, seasoned & articulate. He is forthright and careful in his analysis, and never resorts to emotions or personal insults. He is NOT a fear monger nor an extremist in his comments and views. He is a fiscal conservative, and has a Pulitzer prize for writing. He is a frequent contributor to Fox News and writes weekly for the Washington Post. The entire room was held spellbound during his talk. I have shared this with many of you and several have asked me to summarize his comments, as we are living in uncharted waters economically and internationally.    Mr. Obama is a very intellectual, charming individual. He is not to be underestimated. He is a ‘cool customer’ who doesn't show his emotions. It's very hard to know what's ‘behind the mask’. Taking down the Clinton dynasty from a political neophyte was an amazing accomplishment. The Clintons still do not understand what hit them. Obama was in the perfect place at the perfect time. .Obama has political skills comparable to Reagan and Clinton. He has a way of making you think he's on your side, agreeing with your position, while doing the opposite. Pay no attention to what he SAYS; rather, watch what he DOES!  Obama has a ruthless quest for power. He did not come to Washington to make something out of himself, but rather to change everything, including dismantling capitalism. He can’t be straightforward on his ambitions, as the public would not go along. He has a heavy hand, and wants to ‘level the playing field’ with income redistribution and punishment to the achievers of society. He would like to model the USA to Great Britain or Canada.  His three main goals are to control ENERGY, PUBLIC EDUCATION, & NATIONAL HEALTHCARE by the Federal government. He doesn't care about the auto or financial services industries, but got them as an early bonus. The cap and trade will add costs to everything and stifle growth. Paying for FREE college education is his goal. Most scary is his healthcare program, because if you make it FREE and add 46,000,000 people to a Medicare-type single-payer system, the costs will go through the roof. The only way to control costs is with massive RATIONING of services, like in Canada. God forbid.  He’s surrounded himself with mostly far-left academic types. No one around him has ever even run a candy store. But they’re going to try and run the auto, financial, banking and other industries. This obviously can’t work in the long run. Obama’s not a socialist; rather he's a far-left secular progressive bent on nothing short of revolution. He ran as a moderate, but will govern from the hard left.. Again, watch what he does, not what he says.  Obama doesn’t really see himself as President of the United States, but more as a ruler over the world. He sees himself above it all, trying to orchestrate & coordinate various countries and their agendas. He sees moral equivalency in all cultures. His apology tour in Germany and England was a prime example of how he sees America, as an imperialist nation that has been arrogant, rather than a great noble nation that has at times made errors. This is the first President ever who has chastised our allies and appeased our enemies!  He’s now handing out goodies. He hopes that the bill (and pain) will not ‘come due’ until after he’s reelected in 2012. He’d like to blame all problems on Bush from the past, and hopefully his successor in the future. He has a huge ego, and Mr. Krauthammer believes he is a narcissist.  Republicans are in the wilderness for a while, but will emerge strong. We’re ‘pining’ for another Reagan, but there’ll never be another like him. Krauthammer believes Mitt Romney, Tim Pawlenty & Bobby Jindahl (except for his terrible speech in February) are the future of the party. Newt Gingrich is brilliant, but has baggage. Sarah Palin is sincere and intelligent, but needs to really be seriously boning up on facts and info if she’s to be a serious candidate in the future. We need to return to the party of lower taxes, smaller government, personal responsibility, strong national defense, and states’ rights.  The current level of spending is irresponsible and outrageous. We’re spending trillions that we don’t have. This could lead to hyper inflation, depression or worse. No country has ever spent themselves into prosperity. The media is giving Obama, Reid and Pelosi a pass because they love their agenda. But eventually the bill will come due and people will realize the huge bailouts didn’t work, nor will the stimulus package. These were trillion-dollar payoffs to Obama’s allies, unions and the Congress to o placate the left, so he can get support for #4 above.  The election was over in mid-September when Lehman brothers failed. fear and panic swept in, we had an unpopular President, and the war was grinding on indefinitely without a clear outcome. The people are in pain, and the mantra of ‘change’ caused people to act emotionally. Any Dem would have won this election; it was surprising it was as close as it was. In 2012, if the unemployment rate is over 10%, Republicans will be swept back into power. If it's under 8%, the Dems continue to roll. If it's between 8-10%, it’ll be a dogfight. It’ll all be about the economy. I hope this gets you really thinking about what's happening in Washington and Congress. There’s a left-wing revolution going on, according to Krauthammer, and he encourages us to keep the faith and join the loyal resistance. The work will be hard, but we’re right on most issues and can reclaim our country, before it's far too late.	Talk Radio The importance of Talk radio should not be underestimated. Since my childhood in Scarsdale NY I first listened to Cousin Brucey spinning records. I heard both Imus and Stern from their inception, Gambling, Simone and Bob Grant. I heard Messer,Rizzuto and White call the Yankee games as well in the 70's and 80's. Then moving to Atlanta during the 90's I rode along with Rush, Boortz, Mike Rose, Kim Peterson and Dave Stone. Not to forget Medved, Gallagher, Ingraham, and Savage later on. There of coarse was further education from the array of Real estate, Consumer, computer, automotive and legal expert shows as well. The vast knowledge one can gain from these talkers is immeasurable. Being a life long full time listener and observer I can say there is a reason why the conservatives to dominate radio. It is simple, it is not controlled by the democrats, it is not filled with propaganda, lies and omissions. People see it, people know it and people are sick of the phony Democratic socialist slant on current events, and can enjoy real talk, real reporting and free speech on the radio. That also explains the miserable market share of liberal radio. The left owns the TV and Cable outlets and has infected the A.P as well. The brainwashing and manipulation from the Leftist old media results are clear from our last election. They not only got Obama elected but even chose McCain's campaign to follow and cover because they knew he would not win, especially with a younger more appealing opponent promising "change". Now they want to dig their talons on talk radio and inflict it's rabies on it. Will they get away with this too? Well so much for our last outlet of truth, radio. The corrupt Democratic party is hell bent on destroying it by simply saying because of a lack of on air diversity we will now need to appoint panels to judge if it is fit to be aired at all. This is done under the misleading term "diversity". What an utter disgrace and shining example of censorship by the left by hiding under the shameful practice of race baiting pretending to a good deed. Shame on them. I also would like to express my reaction to the critics of Rush, Sean and all Right Talkers,  that simply write off talk radio as "Entertaining" as though just because it has an element of entertainment it isn't informative? Sorry but my physics teacher was entertaining too, and I still learned plenty. I find we are blessed by even having these great patriots in talk radio, and even feel they may actually play a big role in pulling this greatest country out of this quick sand of Totalitarianism that we are slipping in. (AP/Jim Cole) Michael Savage is exposing the rot at the heart of the Republican establishment: He is an effective, articulate and pugnacious spokesman for the disenchanted conservative base. The popular talk-radio personality hosts a daily show, "The Savage Nation," which airs on over 370 stations and has millions of regular listeners. He is contemplating a run for the 2008 GOP nomination. His Web site (www.michaelsavage.com) has collected over 5 million signatures supporting his presidential bid. Some say Savage has no political experience and has little chance of winning. However, the support he is gathering exposes the decay within the Republican Party. For the past decade, the GOP political elite has grown increasingly detached from the values and concerns of millions of conservative voters. Despite being trounced in the November elections, Republicans still have not learned their lesson. Many on Capitol Hill and in the White House (such as Karl Rove) are under the illusion the defeat signified nothing more than a typical midterm setback for the party in power in a president's second term. Instead, the GOP was smashed because it lost touch with the conservative rank-and-file–the activists who form the heart-and-soul of the party. Unless Republicans repair the growing breach, they will lose again in 2008. This time the cost to the country may very well be a Hillary presidency. Unlike many other pundits and talking heads on the Right, Savage is not a mouthpiece for the Republican Party; rather, he is a Goldwater-Reagan conservative who champions the movement's most fundamental principles: God, country and family. He has made patriotic conservatism–what he calls the triumvirate of "borders, language and culture"–and the war on Islamic fascism the centerpiece of his show. Those 5 million signatures represent a wake-up call to the Republican Party to return to its conservative roots. Instead, the party's presidential front-runners represent its liberal or corporate wings. These factions may have advocates among the elite–Beltway lobby groups, policy institutes, business councils, magazine writers and newspaper editorialists–but their support among voters is thin. Rudy Giuliani, John McCain and Mitt Romney have not caught fire with the Republican base for one simple reason: They are liberals masquerading as conservatives. Giuliani was an effective mayor of New York, who subdued crime and guided the city after 9/11. Yet he is a rabid social liberal: he is pro-choice, pro-gay marriage and pro-gun control. Moreover, under his leadership, New York was transformed into a safe haven for millions of illegal aliens. Contrary to the public myth, Giuliani was not a "law-and-order crime fighter." Although he was tough on violent criminals, he refused to lift a finger to stop the onslaught of illegal immigration plaguing the city. Giuliani is no Reaganite. Instead, he is a Rockefeller Republican, whose support for open borders helped to undermine America's sovereignty and the rule of law. McCain is also part of the GOP corporate establishment, which in order to satisfy the demands of big business has sought to import an entire class of low-skill, low-wage Hispanic laborers. The Arizona Republican likes to dub himself a "maverick." But in reality, he is a trendy liberal Republican. He is a proponent of "comprehensive immigration reform"–meaning some kind of amnesty for the more than 12 million illegals in this country. He opposed President Bush's tax cuts. He co-sponsored the pernicious campaign finance reform law. And despite his claims to be a social conservative, McCain has never waged a frontal assault on the abortion or homosexual rights lobbies. McCain's problem is that he has been in Washington too long: He cares more to win the good opinion of The Washington Post and Beltway liberal elites than to represent the folks in Tucson and Phoenix. Unlike Giuliani and McCain, Romney is not a country club Republican. He is a slick con man. For example, he is trying to persuade conservatives that he was never a supporter of abortion rights while governor of Massachusetts. Unfortunately, his record indicates otherwise. His campaign aides try to claim that the failure of Romney's candidacy to attract considerable support is due to some lingering, dark prejudice against Mormons. Yet, subtle religious bigotry is not the cause for his meager support. Romney strikes GOP primary voters as the political equivalent of a used-car salesman–someone who is willing to say and do anything to close the deal. And this is precisely the problem not only with the GOP's leading candidates, but with Republicans as a whole: They no longer believe in the core principles of the conservative movement. They long ago stopped caring about shrinking the size of government, securing the country's borders, defending basic Judeo-Christian values, restoring civilized decency to our culture or winning the war in Iraq. They pay lip service to conservative principles. Yet they care only about power, perks and privileges. Savage threatens to lay bare this decay and corruption. The 5 million voters who are urging him to make a presidential run represent a conservative cri de coeur–a growing backlash against the GOP's ossified and anemic leadership. There is an emerging conservative counter-revolution against the excesses of New Age, post-1960s liberalism; these activists are fed up with the current crop of Republican leaders and their inept, fainthearted and defensive responses in the face of liberalism's colossal failures. The November midterm elections should have taught Republicans that they ignore these frustrated conservatives at their peril. If Savage urges his hard-core millions of listeners to stay home on Election Day, he can swing the '08 election to the Democrats. By ignoring its conservative base, the GOP is on a one-way street to political defeat and permanent minority status. Lincoln, Goldwater and Reagan must be turning in their graves.
